│ Establishment

Daedong steel industry Co. was established to produce basic components in packaging and distribution industries at 1986, which the overall industrial structure of Republic of Korea had explosively grown. At early stage, the major productions were limited to clamping and packing parts for import substitution, but nowaday, we are producing various parts and components for clamping and packing of raw materials, semi-processed and finished goods, as well as the sensor plates with various type for elevator components.

In recent, we have made a paradigm shift which all management and operation of company should be totally focused to the demand of consumer. Under a certain change, we are devoting ourselves to development of manufacturing skill and production technology, in order to satisfy various demands of consumers. Under this circumstance, we could reinforce the competitiveness in exports through individual enhancement on production facilities, with the continuity on domestic sales of clamping and packing components.

In future, we promise to lead a foundation, for which Republic of Korea can grow as new power on distribution industry and expand to advanced industrial society, as well as a take-off to professional company of first class in domestic clamping and packing components-related industry.


│ Sale and Forecast

Currently, we are continuously providing the basic components and parts for packing and clamping the raw materials, semi- and finished goods, to PoscoAST, cooperating companies of Hyundai steel and Dongbu steel Co. In addition, the shielded plate, side plate and inner/outer circumferential shield plates for packing steel of coil type are also providing with various size and dimensions. Elsewhere, since the demand of serrated type seal is daily increased due to the increasing demand for packing of coils and straps of polyethylene-series(PE/PET) with continuous supply of sensor plate in elevator system, we forecast our sale volume will be continuously increased in the future.
